Sega Arcade Model 2/3 Japanese CRT to LCD Conversion Kit

The kit includes 9 fabricated pieces of solid steel, powder coated in textured black, plus all nuts and bolts needed.

This is a plug and play kit, meaning all that is needed is the original shell of a Japanese model 2 or 3 cabinet. The original CRT can be removed with its frame, and this kit simply placed on in 15 minutes.

The top piece allows for the original speakers to be removed from their plastic housing and bolted straight in. Depending on which cabinet you have, you may or may not have 4" speakers in the plastic side housings. The mounting holes and cavity also allows for any other 4" speaker to be used if desired.

For anyone that require glass, channels are provided to suit glass up to 7mm. This is perfect for any operators with these on site, as the kit is very solid and designed with venue siting in mind. Acrylic can also be used if that's what one prefers.

The back plate has been laser cut on 1.6mm steel, with both 75 and 100 vesa mounting holes, all running at different levels to enable the monitor to be raised to the desire height.

This kit is designed to suit monitors up to 32". Most newer monitors use a slim bezel, but the distance between the side plastics is more than enough to cater for older monitors that have a slightly thicker bezel. All Japanese Cabinets are identical, so please check the width of the monitor you will be mounting against your cabinet measurements.

It will also house a 32" curved monitor, however depending on the curvature and thickness of the monitor, you may or may not be able to add glass. For home use only, this is not a necessity.
